Which amenities have you visited in the past year?

Of the 10 region-serving arts and cultural amenities surveyed, Union Station was visited most by area adults, with nearly 60 percent visiting in the last year. The Nelson Atkins Museum was visited by 41 percent of respondents, ranking it second. These two were followed by Mid-Continent Public Library, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and the Kansas City Zoo, each of which was visited by 35 percent of area adults. Union Station ranked highest in visitation across all age groups, and attracted nearly 70 percent of young adults and those between the ages of 35 and 54. The percent visiting the Nelson and the Zoo ranked higher for those below the age of 45 than above it, while the percent visiting Mid-Continent Public Library generally ranked higher for older adults.
