2019 Report

Rating of Community on Issues

Residents rank their community highest on city parks and public safety, with 70 percent and 65 percent, respectively, rating them good or excellent. Conversely, less than half of residents — 46 percent — rate their community's transportation as good or excellent. Older adults are more likely to be satisfied than other age groups across all issues, while blacks, the unemployed and those with less than a high school education are least likely to be satisfied. Community ratings tend to increase with incomes across all issues except transportation.
